Albert Victor Adams (1919-2006)

My father passed away in St Thomas' Hospital in London yesterday morning. He came down ill on holiday in Spain and despite wonderful efforts by the doctors and nurses at St Thomas', his heart gave out. My mother, brother and I saw him every day until the end. He was awake and rational until his heart stopped: he never lost himself.
