Well, I just got back from Paragon 2. Dropped Janice Gelb off at the airport on the way home. A small Eastercon. Fairly relaxing and enjoyable on the whole. It was impressive that the committee managed to arrange for the BBC to premiere the new Dr Who on the Saturday night of the convention :-). More on Dr Who another time maybe.
The oddest thing was that even though it was small, people seemed to be not around for much of the time. Maybe I just wasn't looking in some of the programme rooms but it seemed like more often than usual if I was looking around for people they just weren't there. Strange for a small Eastercon that's in the middle of nowhere (nowhere within walking distance anyway), and where the local town isn't much for shopping or touristing. Oh well.
