Just got the copy-editors initial queries for "Social Issues of the Information Age". Only 15 pages of queries for a 500+ page book. Not bad going, I don't think.
Most of it is stuff that's editing issues - the odd missing word or an unfinished sentence that got missed int he editing phase. There were some overall questions like can they put the reated reading in a single block rather than for each chapter, plus some extra references they thought were needed. I estimate there's about four hours work on responding to it all. Not too much for a 500+ page book.
