Getting My Head Sorted

not the way you think. Today has been about the physical rather than mental aspects of my head.

If you're squeamish about dentists, don't read on.


Went in to the dentist at midday. After drilling into a tooth, on which I'd had an abcess for months, he finally decided that the tooth would have to come out so I've now got a large hole in my mouth where a molar came out. What made this a surreal experience was that for the last few days my ears have been blocked with wax so I've been partially deaf.

A couple of hours later I went to get my ears sorted out. So at least I can hear again now.

Tried to go for a haircut to complete the hat-trick of "getting my head straight" but my barber closes his doors when he has enough customers waiting to carry him through to when he closes at 4pm, so I was too late ;-(. have to do that tomorrow instead.

This did mean that I got home in time to see Discovery take off, live.

Sympathies on the dental stuff.... At one point I'd so much I'd a separate blog just for the evilness.
